We had the great pleasure of attending the “Kimpex Motorcycle and ATV/UTV Dealer Expo” which was held at the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel in Toronto, Canada. In a nutshell this event gives Kimpex the opportunity to introduce/educate their dealers on new products that either Kimpex distributes or manufactures via various workshops. The event also permits Kimpex to showcase their new CKX summer-trends line-up for next season.
It’s unfortunate that due to an embargo I cannot divulge at this time some of the new products, which will be available next season in the summer-trends line-up for CKX. However, I am at least permitted to mention that you can expect new exciting products and innovations: new series of tinted goggles, new helmets with awesome new color schemes for both men and women and some new riding apparel.
While visiting the various manufacturer booths, certain products that I am at liberty to discuss caught my attention. The first product was the new “UTV Half Lower Doors” manufactured by Kimpex. These new half doors are “all steel construction” which makes the doors rigid and the preassembled rubber trim prevents dirt and water to enter the cabin. These new half doors are available for the: Polaris RZR XP 1000, RZR S 900, XC and TRAIL.
I also spotted another product while visiting the Kimpex booth, the new Kimpex Half Windshield. The new UTV 1/2 windshields are moulded with style to follow the shape of the vehicle. They are also thinner than full windshield but the rigidity of the polycarbonate helps avoid vibrations when the vehicle is running. The Kimpex half windshield also features a no image distortion technology that optimises the driver’s view.
Another product, which really stood out for me, was the heated insoles from ThermaCell. We have all seen or read about foot warmers before, however what makes this product interesting, at least for me, is the fact that this particular foot warmer offers convenient remote operation, no wires or external batteries.
Many manufactures were present with new products in their pipeline and it is regrettable that we can’t reveal more at this time. However the good news is that we will have many new products to announce and review in the upcoming year.
