Plymouth, Minn. (Feb 2, 2016) – Arctic Cat will enter five Wildcat UTV Teams in the World’s Toughest One Day Race – The King of the Hammers in Johnson Valley, CA. The UTV Class competes on February 3rd before 35,000 fans and nearly 500,000 on-line viewers.
In the 2015 King of the Hammers, second place UTV Class finishers, Dean Bulloch and navigator Karl Munford, delivered an outstanding performance in their Wildcat Sport and both are expected to be strong podium contenders in tomorrow’s boulder-strewn desert race.
Arctic Cat partner, Robby Gordon, will be bringing his 30 years of off-road racing experience to the King of the Hammers in a 2016 Wildcat X; the same Wildcats raced in Gordon’s popular Stadium Side x Side Series. Gordon has won seven international off-road class championships, two stadium series and three Baja 500s and is expected to be one of the front runners.
Other Wildcat X teams include Sheldon Creed who just returned from the 2016 Dakar Rally with partner Robby Gordon, multi-time King of the Hammers competitor, Todd Romano, and 2016 Dakar Quad Champion, Marcos Patronelli.
